Service Description
Over the course of 6 weeks we will be making components for a Garden Totem or Story Pole. Each week we will work with different handbuilding methods and surface treatments to design and complete elements for a larger sculptural form. We will work with a theme to create personal objects of meaning and the final work will be assembled on a core structure. NOTE: This course will run for 4 weeks then take a break for the long weekend on June 7 before resuming for the last two weeks on June 14 and 21.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT MATERIALS • Our pricing includes standard-size pieces, number of pieces, materials and firing. Additional materials for making large or numerous items will incur a fee to cover materials and kiln space. - Extra clay is from $6/kg - Firing of additional pieces is charged at $7/kg for bisque and $12/kg for glaze. CANCELLATIONS BY YOU - Workshops are payable in advance and are non-refundable. - If you are unable to attend the Workshop in its entirety, we require at least 7 days’ notice in writing prior to the commencement of the course. - Please email info@melanderson.com.au to request either :   - a transfer to another term, free of charge; or   - a credit note or refund, less a 5% admin/booking fee.   - alternatively, you can transfer your workshop to another person – please advise the name of the substitute person within 48 hours of the commencement of the first workshop date. - Once a workshop has commenced no refunds or transfers can be arranged. CANCELLATIONS BY ME The Fairy Wren Creative Hub reserves the right to cancel a workshop if the minimum number of bookings (6) is not reached. We will provide as much notice of this as possible and in this instance, a full refund will be provided.
