A labour of love combining elements of my daily life on Dangar Island - birds at sunset, ferns from my garden, feathers collected from daily walks, and drawings of the jellyfish that dot my morning commute. I like working with layers and symbols that straddle different levels of meaning. I can not separate out myself from the place where I live, one is the extension of the other and both are equally valid.The symbolism of the feather at the top is to represent my striving for freedom, whatever that might mean.
