Service Description
NOTE: This course will run for 4 weeks then take a break for the long weekend on June 5 and resuming for the last two weeks on June 12 and 19. Curious about working with clay? Looking for a new creative challenge? Professional Artist and Qualified Teacher Mel Anderson is offering a new 6-week ceramics course for winter. Working with various materials and techniques, we will be creating sculptural forms to stack into a Story Pole or Garden Totem. Inspired by your own imagination, you will be guided to create unique personal components using different hand building techniques and surface treatments each week. Each student will learn multiple ways to handbuild with clay and we will assemble the poles at the end of the course. Materials and firing included in the price. The course can be paid for in two instalments.

Booking + Cancellations Policy
CREATIVE KIDS VOUCHERS - TERMS OF USE NSW Creative Kids Vouchers may be used for up to 3 workshops within a 2-month period as per our provider agreement with Service NSW. Suitable sessions for children aged 8-12 and 13-17 include weekly Mud Club and Clay Lab courses and school holiday and weekend workshops. If using NSW Creative Kids Voucher, please provide the voucher number and amount in the booking form and proceed without payment. I will be in touch with a code to use at checkout once I have redeemed your Creative Kids voucher. CANCELLATIONS BY YOU • Workshops are payable in advance and are non-refundable. • If you are unable to attend the Workshop in its entirety, we require at least 7 days’ notice in writing prior to the commencement of the course. • Please email info@melanderson.com.au to request either : - a transfer to another term, free of charge; or - a credit note or refund, less a 5% admin/booking fee. - alternatively, you can transfer your workshop to another person – please advise the name of the substitute person within 48 hours of the commencement of the first workshop date. • Once a workshop has commenced no refunds or transfers can be arranged. CANCELLATIONS BY ME The Fairy Wren Creative Hub reserves the right to cancel a workshop if the minimum number of bookings (6) is not reached. We will provide as much notice of this as possible and in this instance, a full refund will be provided. Please also read the Terms and Conditions on the website (see footer).
