Artist's Residence

Welcome to the Artist’s Residence, Denilliquin.
Originally built in 1906, as a part-time residence for a dentist, the later-named Harry Pepper Building has since been a bakery, cafe, barbershop, bookshop, salon, and most recently a cafe again.
115 End Street is now my permanent residence and the external bakehouse, built in 1936, is my ceramics studio.

Centrally located in the Deniliquin CBD, this apartment is in close walking distance to restaurants, pubs and all town amenities.
The resident artist lives and works at the back of the property. The apartment has a separate guest entrance with easy access to a delightful mix of natural and cultural attractions.
Located on the doorstep of the Island Sanctuary, the residence is perfectly situated for early morning strolls where you will likely spot many bird and mammal species including fairy wrens, waterbirds, echidnas, and wallabies to name a few. There are plenty of swimming spots nearby and many more leisure activities at hand.
The Artist's Residence comprises the first floor landing, lounge room and bedroom with ensuite, as well as the downstairs kitchenette and dining area in the old shop front. Entry is via secure and private access from the side lane off End St into the shared space of the Reading Room. From there you can access the shop front or the first floor. The whole space suits up to two adults and two children. The Artist lives at the back of the residence on the ground floor.
