OED (2013)

The Ordinary-Extraordinary group exhibition was a series of images created using the iPhone. The premise of this exhibition was a novelty at the time and our phones were not particularly advanced. This made for a more interesting exploration of how even limited technology could be used to create a window into the world.

The most important part of this exhibition was the way it opened intimate doors into the most everyday familiar parts of our lives to reframe and polish them into the jewels they truly are. The easy familiarity of these everyday images speak to the heart as they capture the essence of the everyday commute, the weekly shop, the minutae of our daily existence.

Never forget to pay attention to the little things. Our lives are built of these.
