Lady Garden Vases (2022)

A quirky and cute little collaboration with Lady Garden Flowers.

From tiny vases to larger vessels, it was such a pleasure to play with flowers and vessels in collaboration with another artist. Photographing the work, it was such a joy to see the vases through the lens of the camera. Each one developed a life of their own, a personality as they were clothed in flowers and foilage. This work reminds me of the Tiny Folk - of people and characters and feelings and stories and the messiness of life. Working in collaboration with another artist added a layer of storytelling and expression as Lady Garden Flowers dressed up the little vessels to breathe life into their form.
